Such a great find! Service here is amazing, we were served by James who was very friendly and bubbly, kept checking up on us and was also apologetic about the long wait time. Tried the oysters with crumbed bacon, zucchini flowers, and the ribeye steak. All very nice dishes. Just a little disappointed as the steak and potatoes were slightly cold when it was served so by the time we finished the dish it was not as enjoyable. Drinks were great, would recommend the strawberry daiquiri. This place gave me vibes of restaurants in the bigger cities, loved it! 🤩

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the degustation menu created by Alex at the Dispensary restaurant, and it was absolutely perfect. The talent of the staff at the Dispensary is brilliant. From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated like VIPs by every member of the team. They made sure that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. Each of the five courses was expertly crafted and presented with exceptional attention to detail. My wife also enjoyed wine pairings with some of the courses. I actually can't say enough about the food, I could fill this text box with my thoughts. It's difficult to put into words. I'll just say each plate was perfect and I'll never forget them. Overall, we had an unforgettable evening and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly exceptional dining experience. To top it off, we had a moonlit stroll along the harbor. A perfect date night. Our last date night was in September 2021 (we're busy people). Thank you to Alex and the entire team for making our evening so special!

Went here for lunch with my husband for my birthday as we were just visiting Mackay for the weekend. I was very impressed by the menu, as the food was different from standard Cafe lunch food. The prices of the food were very reasonable too. The hummus dip was delicious and unlike anything I've had at a restaurant before. It was full of flavour and different textures on the plate. I had pork belly for my main and was impressed by the portion size! 3 large pieces of pork for around $20, when most restaurants would give you 1 piece for the same price. Staff were all friendly too. I would definitely recommend this place for good food and drinks! 😋

As part of the inner city eating precinct, this place more than holds its own. A great place to spend a lazy Sunday morning, and enjoy a fabulous (and tasty) breakfast. Everything is tasty and catered for. I especially love the fact I can order at my leisure from the table. Eggs (cooked your way) on home made sourdough, and Breakfast Bruschetta (OMG mind blown), were the choice of the day. Everything was super fresh and super tasty. That Bruschetta... Mate... Worth the trip back just for that. 😜 Lovely indian flavour with the duca, and a nice warm undertone. Mind blown. Had the wide and varied choices of beverages as well... And ... Did I mention how much I enjoyed that Bruschetta??? Lol Enjoy.
